Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. Patronus Group emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.
What's In a Name?
Patronus
Patronus comes from the Latin word for "patron", "defender/ protector" or "advocate." At Patronus Group we seek to embody all of these things, by issuing grants to strategically aligned partners to take action in building up their communities.
Our desire is to be an advocate and patron for the arts, social works, sports, and faith-based initiatives in developing countries.
Patrons with a Purpose
The Patronus Group was formed in 2020 by a group of individuals that saw a need for action to be taken through collaboration, strategic partnerships, and deeply focused people, to advance initiatives aligning with our core values.
Core Values
STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS
We want to align with community influencers that share the same values and strategies with us. That being said, a proper vetting process is needed, but long lasting friendships, and benefits to the community are the outcomes.
HONESTY
In a world where corruption is the accepted norm, we want to ensure that everything we do is performed with excellence, honesty, and integrity.
LASTING IMPACT
Wherever our projects take place, we want to leave it better than when we found it. If a project goes on, and it leaves no lasting impact for the overall good, then we have failed. Sustainability in the community, the environment, and the people is vital to our core values.
EMPOWERMENT
One of the key factors in our decision-making process is, no matter where the projects are taking place, it must empower the local men, women and children of the community. If it all rests on the shoulders of outside patrons, the lasting impact is negatively affected.
